October 12, 2011 — Anthro Corporation introduces Steve’s Station, its newest family of imaging desks for healthcare reading rooms, launching at RSNA 2011. They adjust for either sitting or standing while maintaining comfortable focal depth for display monitors. Multiple radiologists can easily share the adjustable, ergonomic imaging table.
The desks are available in two widths (60 in. and 72 in.) and two styles (single surface and dual surface Adjusta stations.) They can be quickly positioned to work comfortably, either sitting or standing, with electric height adjustment from as low as 23 in. to a standing height of 49 in., with push-button control.
Steve’s Station also has three height memory presets so individuals can quickly set the table height and begin reading images in seconds. The table’s strong electric lift legs give the table a 250 lb. lift capacity, necessary for modalities that require the new large displays and CPUs.
The Monitor Easy Track feature can move an entire monitor array of up to six screens forward and back on a smooth 10 in. track set into the monitor shelf. With a squeeze of the handle, the track is positioned, and releasing the handle locks the monitors into place. Adjustments can be made to wrap the monitors around the user; the lateral and vertical position can also be fine-tuned for comfortable viewing.
Convenience features include a fan that keeps air moving around the large displays, twin task lights for the work surface, and two USB ports for easy connectivity.
This new family of furniture joins the company’s Carl’s Table and Elevate family of electrically height-adjustable imaging stations.
