The system is equipped with a battery backup that provides at least 45 minutes of operation in case of power failure. During this time, all ventilation and monitoring functions are available.
The electrical and pneumatic supply are completely independent; therefore, in case of total electrical supply failure, the user is always able to deliver fresh gas and anesthetic vapor using manual or spontaneous ventilation, as long as there is a supply of gas.
The monitor displays all measured volume, pressure and oxygen data, ventilation parameters and fresh gas flow information on a single screen. The rotary knob facilitates easy adjustments of alarms and controls while using a confirm feature to ensure that settings are not changed inadvertently.
