Arizant Healthcare Inc. has announced the addition of a first-of-its-kind product to its Bair Hugger brand, the Model 575 Spinal Underbody blanket.
The blanket, the sixth design in the Bair Hugger Underbody Blanket Series, will make its public debut at ASA 2007.
The Spinal Underbody blanket includes numerous features unique to spinal surgery patients positioned on a spinal surgery table. The blanket can be positioned before the patient arrives to the operating theatre and allows for full visualization and adjustment of all patient supports and pads. As with all Bair Hugger Underbody blanket models, the new Spinal Underbody blanket provides convenient, full access to the patient while helping to prevent unintended patient hypothermia, according to the manufacturer.
