Mindray Medical International officially launched its upgraded PM8000 Express/PM9000 Express patient monitors in September and showed them off at the 2007 ASA meeting.
The upgrades integrate Mortara arrhythmia and ST segment analysis and has a new PR test resource. The upgrade also includes the new Mindray Sidestream EtCO2 module(M02B), which is suitable for neonate care. The company says it has a faster start-up time compared to the previous speed of 10 minutes, and it can be used with more patient types. It now has a start-up time of 30 seconds and has a sampling gas flow rate of 70 ml/min, 100 ml/min.
