InStar Systems International Inc., announced that the company has recently installed its state-of-the-art radiology information system (RIS) at several imaging facilities throughout the country. The company has entered into agreements with a range of diagnostic imaging center operators to help improve workflow and enhance their imaging practices.
Med-Share Diagnostics, with four imaging centers in Detroit, has recently signed a contract to utilize InStar’s RIS.net product. InStar’s RIS.net proprietary technology allows freestanding outpatient facilities, imaging centers and enterprise hospital locations to manage patient records and exams while obtaining fast turnaround of reports. XMG/Grossmont Imaging, with two facilities in San Diego, has also begun employing the InStar RIS.net solution to maximize operations.
Simi Valley Medical Imaging, in California has just implemented InStar RIS.net with remote transcription, which will improve turnaround times for off-site transcriptionists.
Spokane Advanced Imaging Institute, which operates two Spokane, Wa-area centers that already incorporate the InStar RIS into their practices, just added it to its newly opened third local facility.
Envision Radiology of Frisco in Frisco, Tx. has also installed the InStar RIS. The practice currently utilizes the InStar RIS at eight of its other locations nationwide.
