June 18, 2007 — The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) will sponsor the 2007 Leadership Conference, July 20-22, 2007 in Denver, CO.
The Leadership Conference will include interactions with national recognized presenters, authors and experts, recognized for their leadership success and impact on individuals and organizations.
Leading presenters will provide attendees with the wisdom of their experiences through a high energy, fast pace, learning format to help nurse leaders become a catalyst for effective change.
The one-track program, designed for Perioperative nurse leaders in all settings, will give top recommendations and examples to learn from, allowing attendees to leave with a renewed passion for leadership, new insights, and specific steps they can take to be a successful leader in their work setting and professional associations.
A pre-conference seminar, Key Leadership Skills: Coaching, Counseling, & Mentoring will be held the day before the conference on June 19. This one-day, intensive seminar is designed to address three of the most important skill sets managers need to motivate and retain staff.
