November 13, 2007 - Montefiore Medical Center in New York, N.Y., recently selected the Picis CareSuite perioperative information system to manage the clinical, administrative and financial functions of the surgical care environment at each of its hospitals.
CareSuite documents the entire surgical episode -– from preoperative scheduling and evaluation of patients through surgery and anesthesia care to recovery. Beyond the clinical experience, CareSuite also integrates all administrative and business tasks and functions along the care continuum. Picis also provides proven interoperability and data sharing with the GE Centricity Enterprise system.
As part of the agreement, Montefiore has chosen CareSuite OR Manager, Anesthesia Manager, Preop Manager, PACU Manager, SmarTrack, Extelligence, and Anesthesia Professional Fee Billing modules for implementation.
