December 27, 2007 - The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) 2008 Conference and Expo will take place May 31 through June 2 in San Jose, CA.
The educational sessions at AAMI 2008 will provide a wealth of practical knowledge to help hospital biomedical engineers improve patient safety, integrate new technologies, maximize productivity, comply with regulations, and prepare for the challenges of the future. The sessions were just announced this week. They are organized into six concurrent tracks, including technical operations and support, patient safety, information technology, imaging, business and management, and the big picture.
The big picture is a new track, created in response to attendee feedback. It will cover strategic, long-range issues to engineers and their senior management team better prepare to meet the challenges and opportunities expected in years to come.
