January 16, 2008 - AT&T Inc. announced this week it is extending a networking services contract with Welch Allyn.
Under the terms of the three-year $5.1 million renewed agreement, AT&T will continue to provide OneNet Voice Services and Virtual Private Network (VPN) services spanning 12 global locations. These services include remote access and a network-based firewall over AT&T’s Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)-based network.
With AT&T’s VPN services, Welch Allyn will have a high-end managed data-services solution over a global common architecture, which can be accessed remotely to promote more effective and efficient sharing of applications hosted at multiple Welch Allyn locations.
AT&T will also provide Welch Allyn with AT&T OneNet Voice Service, which provides a flexible solution for large multinational enterprises that have a need for multiple communications technologies.
