February 12, 2008 - Wellsoft Corp. said today it entered into a national agreement with Premier Purchasing Partners to provide the Wellsoft Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) to emergency departments in Premier’s alliance of more than 1,550 member hospitals.
The maker says Wellsoft EDIS is designed by and for emergency department clinicians. Features include patient tracking, nursing and physician documentation, electronic orders and results, charge capture, and coding.
In the recently released 2007 Top 20 Best in KLAS Report, Wellsoft was ranked No. 1 for the 11th time in the emergency department information systems category.
