July 3, 2008 - Visionsense Corp. received FDA 510(k) clearance for the new Visionsense Stereoscopic Vision System (VSII) for use in MIS Neurosurgery.
The "miniature microscope," a 3.4 mm 3D camera is used in tran-nasal skull-base and other minimally invasive neurosurgical procedures, provides a local stereoscopic view of the anatomy.
The company plans to launch the VSII system late 2008.
