August 23, 2010 – A 30-inch, 10 mega-pixel (MP) liquid crystal display (LCD) with auto-calibration software was released for mammography and viewing images from picture archiving and communications systems (PACS). Double Black Imaging (DBI) is showing the LCD this week at the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) 2010 annual meeting in booth 328.
The DBI 10MP offers high image quality and an ultra-high brightness and contrast ratio. The X-CAL calibration software suite offers ease of DICOM 3.14 auto-calibration. Automatic QA/QC and MQSA reports, as well as proactive system notifications, are included at no charge. The durable, bonded protective panel includes an anti-reflective coating and comes standard with the DBI 10MP-PP. This added durability reduces maintenance costs and extends the useful life of the LCD.
DBI is also showing other self-calibrating LCDs during AHRA, including its 2MP monochrome, 2MP high-bright color, 3MP monochrome, 3MP high-bright color and 5MP for digital mammography.
