Horizon Cardiology 12.1 is a complete cardiovascular information solution (CVIS) that includes fully integrated hemodynamic monitoring and ECG management. The latest enhancements address the need for deeper integration within the cardiovascular department workflow while providing new modules aimed at improving revenues, decreasing costs and providing meaningful methods of integrating the entire patient’s cardiovascular history.
The latest version boasts an industry unique revenue management function designed to capture charges at the point of care and enable simultaneous review of charges and reports to improve auditing and tracking. Also new this year is an extension of hemodynamic monitoring to support congenital invasive procedures, including new tools that support the capture of pressures, waveforms and blood gas samples from various sites.
Also featured is a new integrated fractional flow reserve (FFR) module that removes the need for dedicated FFR acquisition devices. This module not only fully integrates the FFR waveform acquisition directly into the hemodynamic unit, it also provides for data capture, lesion, stage, medication and dosage related to the waveform.
Other enhancements include full support of DICOM Structured Reporting (SR) standards for echo and vascular procedures as well as single workstation support for cardiac CT, angiography and echocardiography, including 3D/4D as well as a resting ECG management.
