BRIT Systems’ BRIT Speak is a stand-alone dictation, transcription, report distribution and optional voice recognition solution that uses the latest Web technologies. BRIT Speak provides real-time workflow across a virtual environment with minimal user intervention and is available with the company’s Roentgen RIS and Roentgen Works remote reading solution.
As a modular solution, facilities can select just the components required for local workflows, such as the Voice Dictation Module or the Voice Recognition Module. The former manages the workflow utilizing industry standard sound files, making them accessible to a transcriptionist over the web. Using simple management tools, all patient information can be annonymized at the radiologist or transcriptionist’s view of the data to preserve patient privacy. The Voice Recognition Module provides direct integration with Dragon Version 10 and the Dragon Radiologist’s Vocabulary, both included in the module.
