February 26, 2009 - eHealth Global Technologies added three transplant centers to the company’s eHealthConnect medical record management service, joining the nearly 30 transplant centers across the U.S. already using eHealth Global’s eHealthConnect service.
The new sites, Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals (Philadelphia, PA), University of California, San Francisco, and SUNY Downstate Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY), have transplant programs with a critical need to gather prior patient pathology, lab and radiology reports and radiological images to support the patient listing process for organ transplantation.
eHealthConnect replaces ad hoc data collection with a systematic method that makes patient medical records reliably and quickly available to authorized clinicians. Clinicians make one request to the eHealth Global customer support team who then collect, digitize, organize, store and secure medical records for prompt clinical viewing.
