McKesson’s latest generation Horizon Cardiology (version 12) is designed to incorporate the latest technology and enables extensive new clinical functionality, thus further improving the cardiology department and user workflows. Some of the new features are: vascular ultrasound reporting; holding area charting; Web client stations (an enhanced remote viewing terminal); interface server (which provides a new connectivity platform with reportedly high performance and ease of use); and bidirectional allergy integration, allowing the exchange of allergy information with other McKesson systems.
