February 3, 200 - Aspyra Inc. said it has contracted with Glendale MRI Institute, a state-of-the-art multi-modality imaging center in southern California to upgrade the center’s existing Aspyra PACS to the most current release, version 6.4, as well as implement its RIS solution.
Glendale MRI has been an Aspyra PACS customer since 2003. Performing over 10,000 studies annually, the center offers various outpatient imaging services, including MRI, PET/CT, CT, bone densitometry and ultrasound.
“We wanted an integrated imaging solution that would allow us to maintain a high level of service satisfaction, and would also allow us to be paperless, solve record duplication issues and import outside images,” said Pamela Fletcher, Glendale MRI’s administrator. “Aspyra’s RIS/PACS met those requirements. Our radiologists like Aspyra’s PACS and are looking forward to some of the tools and features available with the new release.”
