November 4, 2008 – The Aurora 1.5Tesla Dedicated Breast MRI System has been installed and is now available to the women of Puerto Rico through the Advanced Breast Center in the city of Cayey.
The most recent American Cancer Society guidelines recommend breast MRI for women at high risk of breast cancer, and now women in Puerto Rico have access to the only FDA cleared dedicated breast MRI system specifically designed for breast imaging.
