Philips Healthcare will showcase solutions for interventional radiologists, from mobile surgical C-arm systems to the multi-purpose inverventional X-ray system MultiDiagnost Eleva, offering flat detector technology and 3D imaging.
The MultiDiagnost Eleva 3D solution reconstruction reportedly gives clinicians insight into the patient’s anatomy, allowing the treatment strategy to be adapted while the patient is still on the table. According to the company, MultiDiagnost Eleva 3D is advantageous because of reportedly superb weight bearing imaging through a combination of tiltable geometry and MultiDiagnost Eleva 3D-RX. Another advantage is having 2D, 3D and stack imaging on one system in one run, reducing exam time for the patient and the number of separate examinations.
The BV Pulsera 3D imaging solutions helps clinicians visualize complex structures intra-operatively, facilitating procedures and potentially reducing the number of pre- and post-operative imaging studies ordered, thus enhancing workflow and increasing cost effectiveness.
