June 27, 2008 - MEDISON Co. is planning a global launch of its new ultrasound, the ACCUVIX V20 model, in the second half of 2008, offering a faster and more convenient diagnosis and featuring an ergonomic design.
VolumeOS, the fundamental operating system of ACCUVIX V20, is commonly designated a hardware-software structure optimized for 3D/4D ultrasound diagnoses, helping practitioners who are used to 3D/4D diagnoses minimize redundant time, as well as allows those who have relatively little experience in such diagnoses to use its functions easily and quickly.
Current technologies such as 3D XI, XI VOCAL are reinforced and adapted to ACCUVIX V20, and a number of revolutionary new technologies including Color STIC, Inversion 3D, OVIX and VCE enabling effective and precise diagnoses, are included, reportedly offering more vivid 2D images, as well as powerful and rapid 3D/4D performance. Such powerful functions are designed to provide the highest level of system response time thanks to its optimum design of the function structure over the overall system.
The ergonomic design includes a large 10.4 LCD intuitive touch panel and an articulated arm is designed to provide the optimal environment of comfort and functionality when performing the ultrasound examination.
