April 21, 2008 - iCRco Inc. installed its digital CR unit at JEM Educational Services in Corona, CA, to better familiarize its students with digital imaging and utilizing a recent law passed to allow X-ray technicians to use the equipment after proper education and authorization.
The state passed into law SB 1670 (Digital Radiography) in January 2007, which went into effect March 15, 2008. This law allows X-ray technicians to legally use digital radiography equipment in the state of California provided they have taken the approved course of education and submitted an application to the State for authorization.
While offering incentives to seminar participants, iCRco also offers a “Free Course” to new customers. Any physician’s office or clinic that would like to send their X-ray technician to JEM Educations Services to attain their authorization to operate digital equipment can do so for free when they purchase an iCRco CR Solution.
JEM Educational Services has been approved by the California Department of Public Health, Radiologic Health Branch (RHB) to offer the 20 hour curriculum necessary to operate this equipment.
