February 8, 2008 – IDC was awarded a contract for its 1600 X-Series digital radiography system for installation in the Physical Examination Center at the Beijing Capital Airport Terminal 3 (T3) building, the largest terminal building in the world, scheduled to open in March 2008 in time for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games in August.
Housing the Physical Examination Center the facility was built to meet the emergency healthcare needs of airport passengers. This contract is the latest of IDC deals for both private and government facilities in the Asia/Pacific Rim region, during the past three months. Sales of the X-Series of CCD detectors are driving IDC’s continuing international growth.
