February 7, 2008 – BayScribe will launch a new turnkey medical dictation and transcription document reporting workflow solution during the 2008 HIMSS conference in Orlando, FL later this month.
From the makers of Digital Voice, comes BayScribe in a Box, which the company says is a complete fault-tolerant, document reporting system with voice capture, ADT capture, routing, workflow management, transcription, and document delivery as required. The makers say it provides a seamless user experience from dictation to document distribution.
Clinicians can dictate just as they do today, the audio is married to the ADT information and queued to the transcriptionist for typing. A state-of-the-art electronic signature and document viewing system provides onsite and remote access to transcribed reports within seconds after they are typed from virtually any secure login. Clinicians electronically view, edit and sign within their browser.
Reports can then be distributed in a variety of ways, including being returned to an EMR or Legacy system. Managers can edit, audit and report on virtually any metric from dictation through transcription. Additional levels of secure access that restricts privileges by site, user and other policy rules are included.
