November 13, 2007 - Fujifilm Medical Systems USA Inc. announced the availability of its customizable Fuji Computed Radiography (FCR) Mobile digital X-ray package that can be provided as a complete Fujifilm acquisition-to-archive solution, including Fujifilm’s CR, PACS and managed services, reportedly delivering hospital-grade image quality with the flexibility and reliability demanded in a mobile imaging environment.
Included in the FCR Mobile package is Fujifilm’s FCR Carbon. Said to be the smallest, fully-featured CR systems available, the Carbon family of readers use 2.4 square feet of floor space. The package also includes a rugged laptop version of the Flash IIP technologist’s console that can connect to commercially available wireless broadband routers for the convenience of remote image transfer to PACS.
FCR Mobile is an end-to-end digital imaging solution that can include Fujifilm’s Synapse PACS and Managed Services. With Synapse Managed Services, users can concentrate on the delivery of radiology services while the IT component is seamlessly handled.
