October 22, 2007 - Quantum Medical Imaging, in partnership with Agfa Healthcare, has introduced two new CR systems, the CR30-SP, which is a tabletop unit, capable of 60 plates per hour and the upright unit CR35-SP, which completes up to 73 plates per hour.
The CR30-SP and CR35-SP systems also include the revolutionary MUSICA2 Image Processing Software from Agfa. MUSICA2 image processing software intelligently renders exceptional bone and soft tissue detail simultaneously, according to the company. MUSICA2 analyzes image data before applying optimal contrast, brightness and sharpness to all details within the image, which reportedly results in maximum radiographic detail throughout the image, reducing the need for manual activities such as window and level.
The CR30-SP and CR35-SP packages come standard with a 19-inch touch screen, NX-2 Workstation, 4 cassettes (with 2-year warranty), advanced annotations and measurements tools software, CD Burning capability and also offer low power consumption.
