August 3, 2007 - HP recently signed on to supply technology to MD Anderson, one of the nation’s leading cancer research and treatment centers, enabling researchers at MD Anderson to investigate new techniques in bioinformatics, epidemiology, radiation treatment modeling, and many other fields, in ways that were previously either not possible or too slow to be effective.
By investing over $2.2 million in a comprehensive Linux-based HPC system from HP, MD Anderson is now the largest dedicated oncology research system in the U.S. HP’s Health and Life Sciences strategy, which will be announced on Monday, August 6.
