Cedara has announced that it will demonstrate at RSNA its new C4 integration platform, a system that allows OEM companies to integrate clinical applications into existing solutions, responding to the need to unify multiple PACS installations across the enterprise.
Through a single integration effort, C4 (Cedara Clinical Control Center) allows companies to support diverse functionality for their customers including breast imaging, PET/CT, orthopaedic planning, virtual colonoscopy, calcium scoring, oncology therapy response, lung nodule analysis and more. C4 reportedly is designed clinical applications and plug-ins to be tightly integrated into a single workstation, sharing system resources. Operating through a single patient study list, each clinical application can be launched manually or automatically based on user preferences. While C4 can be used to quickly integrate clinical applications into any information system, it will be demonstrated at RSNA with Cedara's web enabled PACS system Cedara I-Reach, a diagnostic information system Cedara aXigate, and in a standalone capacity.
