Commissure, AMICAS Integrate Speech Recognition with RIS/PACS

Commissure Inc. recently announced a partnership with AMICAS Inc. a leader in radiology and medical image and information management solutions. The partnership will enable Commissure’s speech recognition reporting and workflow orchestrator software, RadWhere Suite, to work seamlessly with the AMICAS Vision Series RIS and PACS solutions, as well as allow for multisite worklist management.
“This is a natural fit for Commissure and AMICAS. AMICAS is a proven leader in Web-based imaging workflow management,” says CEO Michael Mardini. “Integrating our applications gives radiologists the power to launch our reporting software from the AMICAS RealTime Worklist, or vice versa.”
Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and Waterbury Hospital in Waterbury, CT are the first two facilities to utilize the product integration from the two companies.
