ZOLL will feature its array of defibrillators at TCT 2008.

The R Series offers smart tools to help clinicians improve CPR performance. It also features both ZOLL's Real CPR Help and patented See-Thru CPR technology. See-Thru CPR helps minimize interruptions in CPR - one of the key recommendations of the American Heart Association's guidelines for advanced cardiac life support - by extracting CPR artifact and showing a "filtered" ECG on the defibrillator screen. It allows rescuers to see organized cardiac rhythm without stopping compressions.

The M Series CCT offers ZOLL's standardized biphasic defibrillation, external pacing, complete monitoring and a large full-color display in a single portable unit. The M Series CCT features a three-channel display for ECG and two invasive pressures with ranges covering arterial, pulmonary arterial, central venous, or intracranial, as well as two temperature channels. It also provides all the non-invasive parameter options including SpO2, EtCO2, NIBP, and fully interpretive 12-lead ECG.

The LifeVest, reportedly the first and only wearable defibrillator, is typically worn by patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), either while the decision is made to implant a cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) or when an ICD may not be appropriate for the patient. This 1.8-pound device is a vest with electrodes that is connected to a Walkman-sized defibrillator worn on a belt. It provides constant monitoring of the patient's heart, immediate protection and records data to help diagnose and treat life-threatening arrhythmias.
