The Canon CXDI-50G DR system is reportedly lightweight and has a 14-inch-by-17-inch imaging area. This DR system is integrated with the RadPro 40kw Mobile X-Ray System and AMX-4 Portable X-Ray System, making it appropriate for bedside or post-operative procedures.
The CXDI-50G is large enough for chest and abdominal X-rays, yet it is reportedly as easy to position as a conventional film cassette or CR imaging plate when performing lateral or axial imaging of limbs and other areas. The compact design allows it to be a solution for a wide range of X-ray room applications that are difficult to perform with fixed devices.
Also featured at RSNA, the Canon CXDI-40EG General DR system provides an imaging area of 17-inches-by-17-inches and lets users capture desired anatomical views for both large and small format X-rays in portrait or landscape orientation, without having to rotate the detector unit.
