The 1928L touchmonitor from Elo TouchSystems is specifically designed for patient monitoring, critical care and digital radiography modalities. Available in two colors, the 1928L can also act as a cost-effective solution for nurse stations, computer-aided therapy, electronic medical records, paperless charting and patient self check-in and registration applications. Features of the nontouch-enabled unit include IntelliTouch surface wave technology, which according to the company results in superior image quality, and AccuTouch five-wire resistive touchscreen technology.
The IPX1-certified enclosure design keeps the entire unit safe from liquid drops and spills, an important consideration in the operating room where contamination may occur. The touch screen can also be activated with a gloved hand - another critical capability in healthcare settings.
