Toshiba America Medical Systems has announced FDA clearance of its dedicated vascular system, the Infinix VC-i with Large Field of View (LFOV) Flat Panel Detector (FPD).
The system’s new LFOV FPD technology streamlines workflow through an all-digital system for clear imaging and highly efficient vascular exams. The system provides distortion-free imaging with uniform brightness plus advanced technologies, including a powerful digital acquisition, processing and storage system — providing immediate access to images and cost-effective archiving.
Other system features include: dose management functions, which ensure high-quality images at the lowest dose; easy-to-use table controls; flexible tabletop design; and a liquid metal X-ray tube with a high heat capacity to eliminate waiting for tube cooling during long exams.
