Avreo's new mammography solutions - the interWORKS Mammography Viewer and Breast Imaging Tracking System - are designed to allow customers to efficiently view, manage and store digital mammography images.
Featuring full FDA approval of the Digital Mammography Viewer, Avreo customers can reportedly integrate the viewer for enhanced system capabilities and cost savings. The solution also adapts to facility size, exam volume or workflow demands; it is scalable for breast clinic, hospital, imaging center or a multisite enterprise. According to Avreo, it lets you view, manage and store images from multiple sources and modalities.
In addition, the software supports IHE (Integrating the Health Enterprise Initiative) for interoperability and provides PACS users with access to current patient images and information.
According to the manufacturer, interWORKS was designed as a single application/single database radiology workflow solution including RIS, PACS, dictation, transcription and auto report delivery system that encompasses all the features a free standing imaging center or Hospital needs to operate efficiently.
